David Beckham's Age May Limit Impact on U.S. Soccer, Charlton Says

David Beckham may struggle to lift soccer's popularity in the U.S. because of his age, according to Sir Bobby Charlton.

Real Madrid midfielder, who will be 32 when his five-year contract at L.A. Galaxy begins, said he wants to take soccer to ``another level'' in the U.S. Charlton said Beckham's influence may wane as he nears the end of his playing career.
